About us

We specialise in pelvic health and work closely with a variety of departments within Kingston Hospital.

We treat a range of conditions including urinary urgency and incontinence, faecal urgency and incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic pain. We also see patients who are suffering from pregnancy related musculoskeletal issues such as pelvic girdle pain, lower back pain and carpal tunnel. Our treatment approach for all conditions is holistic and patient centred.

We will routinely see all women who have sustained either a third or fourth degree tear.  Midwives, Consultants and GP’s may also refer women who are experiencing any bladder, bowel or vaginal prolapse symptoms within 12 months of their delivery.

Women who are experiencing pregnancy related back or pelvic pain will be signposted by their midwife to our physiotherapy advisory video. If symptoms worsen despite following advice and recommended exercises, Midwives, GPs and Consultants may refer to our outpatient service where a virtual, face to face, or group appointment will be arranged as appropriate. We will accept referrals during the ante-natal period and up to six weeks post-partum.

Our treatment approach has a strong focus on pelvic floor muscle function, patient-centred lifestyle modifications and self-management strategies.
