About us
The service is responsive to the needs of patients and is developing the use of IT to improve patient safety and efficiency.
The pharmacy purchases and distributes medicines to wards and departments at Kingston Hospital. We dispense hospital-only prescriptions for inpatients.
Our clinical pharmacists review patients’ prescriptions regularly on the wards to ensure optimal treatment is achieved. They also give advice to prescribers and to patients on how best to take their medicines.
We have a Medicines Information Department which provides support for Trust healthcare staff and patients who have any questions or concerns about their medicines supplied by us.
Our dedicated helpline for patients, 020 8934 2092, is open Monday to Friday from 9.15am to 5pm.
