Acute Assessment Unit
About us
Pamela Bryant is a ward for adults who have been discharged from hospital but who need a period of rehabilitation before returning home.
We also admit palliative care patients and a small number of people directly from home whose condition is suitable for treatment in a community hospital, rather than a larger hospital.
Patients are cared for by the ward nursing and therapy team with input from the visiting GP when needed.
We work closely with other agencies, such as social services, Richmond Response and Rehabilitation Team, district nursing, community matrons, Princess Alice Hospice and the voluntary sector.
We cannot provide care for patients whose main concern is mental health related.
Visiting times
Visiting hours are Monday to Sunday, 2pm to 8pm
Main carers and family members are welcome on the ward outside visiting hours and we will always be as flexible as possible. Speak to a member of staff to arrange this.
You can speak to the ward on 020 8714 4040.
