We know sometimes going to a new place can be frightening and confusing because this is not where you live.
There are lots of staff that work on the ward. Doctors, nurses, therapists, admin and cleaning staff. They are all here to help!
This is the nurses' station. Nurses, doctors and therapists come here to write their notes about your care.
This the dining room and activity area. We would like you to use this area when you are staying on the ward.
We have lots of toilets on the ward. Each toilet has grab rails and raised toilet seats to help you.
The nurses use a medicines trolley when supporting you to take your medicines. They will bring this to your bed area.
This is what your bed area can look like. You have a bed that can move up and down, chair, table, and locker to keep your clothes and personal things.
At your bed, you have a call bell. When you press the call bell, staff will come and ask if you need any help.
