Who we are

The multiple sclerosis (MS) team cares for people with a confirmed diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. We only see people who live within the London Borough of Kingston and local area.

The MS team includes:

  • MS specialist nurses
  • consultant neurologists
  • MS coordinator.

Contacting us

When to contact us

You will have regular appointments, alternating between the consultant and the MS nurse, according to your needs.

Between these appointments, contact the MS nurse:

  • if you have new symptoms
  • if you think you are having a relapse
  • if you need information or advice
  • if you need specialist referrals
  • if you are concerned or having difficulty coping with any aspect of your MS
  • if you have questions about your medicines or side effects
  • for monitoring of disease modifying treatment or to report issues.

Monday to Friday, we aim to respond within 3 working days.

Contact the MS team coordinator (9am to 2pm,  Monday to Thursday):

Clinical queries

Contact the MS nurses (9am to 4pm,  Monday to Friday):

Red arrow icon.png In an emergency, go to your nearest Emergency Department (A&E) or call 999.

Booking blood test

Before you come in for your blood test, please check that it has been requested by your MS Nurse. Email or call the MS nurses or the MS team coordinator.
