We want our patients to have the best possible experience of our care.

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is a way of gathering your feedback so we can learn about what makes services positive for patients, families and carers and where and how we need to make improvements.

All patients will be asked to give quick, anonymous feedback about their experiences at some point in their healthcare journey. You will be asked for a score (where 1 is very good and 5 is very poor) and, if you wish, the reasons for giving this score.

If you wish to leave feedback now, you can complete the relevant survey below:

How we use FFT feedback

The results are used by staff in each service and department. They have access to scores and comments for each service or specialty.

Positive feedback helps staff to know what patients value about their care. When the feedback is neutral or negative, staff are encouraged to find ways to improve their services then to check if this makes a difference by looking at feedback regularly.
