Consultant Rheumatologist

Biography

Dr Julekha Wajed is a Consultant Rheumatologist at Kingston Private Health. She graduated from Manchester University in 2003 and completed her general medical training at Hammersmith and Whittington Hospitals, and specialist registrar training (Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine) in South Thames London, including working at St Georges Hospital and Guys’ & St Thomas’ Hospital.

Dr Wajed completed an MSc in Rheumatology from Kings College London, and has won the Barbara Ansell and Eric Bywaters prize at the Royal Society of Medicine, and was awarded a travelling fellowship at the British Society of Rheumatology. She has multiple publications in peer reviewed journals, led roles on clinical effectiveness & audit committees and is actively involved with the training and teaching of local GPs and junior doctors.

Dr Wajed is passionate about patient-focused care with medical treatment, patient education and exercise.
