Biography
Mr Siddiqui is one of our Orthopaedic Consultants and specialises in shoulder problems, including sports injuries. He qualified from St Bartholomew’s Medical School in 1999.
He stayed in the London region for general surgical training then proceeded to specialist orthopaedic training and worked at several hospitals – including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore; Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead; and the Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel. He is clinical lead for the Kingston Bone Health project, promoting osteoporosis treatment and prevention.
Mr Siddiqui developed further sub-specialty skills and experience in all aspects of upper limb surgery during three specialist fellowships; one year at the world-renowned Brisbane Hand and Upper Limb Unit in Australia and a further year at two leading upper limb specialty units in the UK – Avon Orthopaedic Centre in Bristol and University Hospital Coventry.
He was also awarded the prestigious Watanabe Travelling Fellowship, visiting several centres of surgical excellence around the UK specialising in shoulder and elbow surgery.
Mr Siddiqui works as an NHS consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics at Kingston Hospital. He specialises in shoulder, elbow and hand & wrist surgery and undertakes joint replacement surgery of the shoulder, elbow, and fingers.
