That’s why we are pleased to be able to offer you the assurance of having your baby in a maternity unit recognised as being one of the safest places to give birth, while enjoying the additional comfort and privacy that our private rooms offer.

As a private patient, you will have:

  • 1-1 midwifery care during labour and your postnatal stay

  • Antenatal continuity of care with a small team

  • Continuity of care throughout your pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period

  • If you have a partner with you, they will have a place to stay overnight

  • Bright, private, single room with views over Surrey

  • Three meals per day, included for your partner

  • A dedicated kitchen to cater for any special dietary requirements

  • A single point of contact for all antenatal and postnatal appointments

  • A medical secretary available over WhatsApp, if you prefer this form of contact to email

Your consultant will deliver your baby in Kingston’s Maternity Unit and, following discharge, you will be transferred to your private room here at Kingston Private Health, where you will also receive one-to-one postnatal care by our team of dedicated midwives.

If you choose to have your baby privately at Kingston Private Health, you will also have the peace of mind that, should the need arise, you and your baby will be supported by Kingston Hospital’s critical and neonatal intensive care facilities that can be called upon 24-hours per day.

We have welcomed patients from Kingston and neighbourhood towns such as Surbiton, Esher and Cobham, but we also see patients from London and anywhere within the M25 circle.

We offer a range of maternity packages to suit individual needs and we will be very happy to discuss these with you. It is important to note that all of our package prices exclude consultant and anaesthetist’s fees.
