Mr Ian Bloom

Consultant Colorectal Surgeon

Biography

Mr Ian Bloom is our Consultant Colorectal Surgeon and has worked at Kingston NHS Hospital Trust for more than 20 years.

He has developed a wide experience of colorectal surgery and is a certified screening colonoscopist, with more than 15,000 procedures successfully performed. He is a specialist in colorectal cancer and lead clinician for Kingston Hospital.

Mr Bloom qualified at the University of Leeds, before undertaking surgical training in Manchester. He was also a Research Fellow at the University of Louisville, United States and Senior Registrar at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London.
