Olympic medalists kick off annual Night to Remember charity walk
A team of finance colleagues and inclusion and diversity ambassadors for South West London have been shortlisted for the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Diversity and Inclusion Awards 2024.
Basit Attah, Lillian Auma, Pushpal Basnet, Tahira Butt, Indie Kaur, Ranjana Manivannan, Efosa Odaro, Piya Patel and Sapna Patel, were shortlisted for the impact they have had in promoting and embedding the ambassador scheme, in South West London, and beyond.
The ambassadors have worked collaboratively to support a strategic approach to inclusion and diversity and have developed an innovative framework for delivery of the National EDI Action Plan, which has been adopted by other inclusion and diversity ambassador teams across the region and nationally.
Yarlini Roberts, Chief Finance Officer at Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust, said: “I am really proud of the team for everything they have achieved, flying the flag for diversity and inclusion, in the finance sector and beyond.
"Our ambassadors regularly collaborate with national and regional inclusion and diversity groups, local equality diversity and inclusion and workforce teams, and wider networks – all on a voluntary basis – and have worked hard mentoring teams across London and hosting awareness events, career fairs and engagement sessions. Their recognition in the shortlist for the HFMA Diversity and Inclusion Awards is so well deserved. Best of luck to the team.”
The winners of the HFMA Awards will be announced in December.
