Jacqui Holmes, Operational Lead for Inpatient Physiotherapy, has been announced as the winner of the Clinical Quality Award in the British Geriatrics Society (BGS) Rising Star Awards for 2024.

The annual BGS Rising Star Awards recognise doctors, nurses, allied health professionals (AHPs) and pharmacists, who have made exceptional contributions to the field of older people’s healthcare early in their careers. 

Jacqui has been recognised for her work on the Trust’s Eat, Drink, Dress, Move (EDDM) project, focusing on the risk and impact of deconditioning for patients in hospital and the community - one of our quality priorities for this year.
